Overview
An example of the highest quality of internal finishes and refurbishment levels.
The project brief was to take high end apartments and bring them into the most current specification and an example of high-tech solutions for the modern living space. We provided a full refurbishment service with all apartments stripped back to their base form and completely renovated.
Key challenges
The client had a very specific brief and aspiration to achieve, and we had to align with this, and bring it to reality. Working with artisan tradesmen that were flown in from other countries in some instances, we had to coordinate the team and ensure the specifications were achieved, with some decision-making being made as the project progressed.
Our solutions
We worked closely with the Interior Design team and end user client to make sure they understood each decision and the knock-on effect it had to the construction process, budget, programme and end result.
We coordinated selected subcontractors, particularly the audio-visual installation which was a bespoke solution for these apartments and involved extensive cabling.
We convened regular meetings to communicate progress and we issued weekly updates to the client, so they felt involved in the progress of the work. Regular site walks were also important so they could see the project coming to life.
Most importantly we assembled the best team to deliver a truly breath-taking finish and executed the delivery on site with close management and a keen eye for details.
