Overview
This project was the complete refurbishment of a six-bedroom house in the heart of St Johns Wood. The refurbishment consisted firstly of the entire strip-out to shell and core before commencing the refurbishment. New electrics, ventilation, kitchen, bathrooms, audio visual, polished plaster and landscaping were carried out to an exceptionally high standard.
Challenges & solutions
Pall Mall provided a complete construction and management service. The project duration was 52 weeks and special care and attention was given to working methods, due to the nature of this prestigious and quiet residential area. The project was completed within budget and programme.
They key challenges related to maintaining the client’s budget, and timescales, whilst absorbing their required changes and developing brief, to ensure the project was the highest quality possible.
Results
We achieved the client’s desires and bought to life their envisioned end result.
It did come with challenges, however clear communication, management of expectations and providing information and feedback and at the earliest time possible helped us collaborate and navigate them together.
